Explore STEAM through hands-on activities, experiments, and challenges that encourage curiosity, creativity, and learning through trial and error.

A STEAM program for homeschool families. Activities for this program are most appropriate for ages 8-10. Younger children may need assistance from their adult. Adults should plan to stay in the room during the program. Be aware that some months may have messy activities, so dress accordingly!

This is a ticketed program. Tickets are available first-come, first-served at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes before the program begins.

About the branch

First built on its current site in 2000, the Flower Mound Public Library completed a renovation in 2020. This 40,000 square foot facility includes a quiet reading area, seven study rooms, outdoor patios in the Adult and Children’s areas, and a Creation Lab.
