Join Monarch Watch Conservation Specialist Carol Clark as she details the immediate steps you can take in your own yard to make a big difference for Monarch butterflies.

In this presentation, Carol Clark, Monarch Watch Conservation Specialist www.monarchwatch.org, describes the amazing story of the Monarch Butterfly lifecycle and migration, clarifies some common misconceptions about Monarchs, explains historic and current threats to Monarch populations, and highlights why Texas is a pivotal location for Monarchs' future success. The program also covers real steps North Texas residents can take to help bolster the Monarch population and which plants feed Monarchs. This program is for adults and teens, and registration is required.

About the branch

First built on its current site in 2000, the Flower Mound Public Library completed a renovation in 2020. This 40,000 square foot facility includes a quiet reading area, seven study rooms, outdoor patios in the Adult and Children’s areas, and a Creation Lab.
