Costume Swap

Trade your gently used costumes for ones new-to-you!

Drop-off Period: Friday, Sep. 18 – Friday, Sep. 25

Costume Swap day: Saturday, Sep. 26 (Early Admission: 2 - 3 p.m. Regular Admission: 3 - 3:30 p.m.)

Drop-Off

The Library will accept:

• Costumes in infant – adult sizes.
  • Costumes must be in a clean, wearable condition (no broken zippers, missing buttons, etc.)
  • Costumes should have no stains or tears unless they are part of the costume.
• Accessories, such as masks, hats, handheld props, etc., in a gently used condition.
  • We will not accept makeup, face paint, fake blood, or similar items.

More Information

• You do not have to participate in the swap to drop off costumes or accessories.
• We reserve the right to refuse any items that we deem inappropriate for the swap.
• So that we have time to review and sort costumes, no donations will be taken the day of the swap.

Costume Vouchers

• For each donation of a complete costume, receive one costume voucher and early admission to the swap.
• The Library has final determination if a costume is complete. Accessories without a costume are not valid for a costume voucher.

Day Of

2 - 3 p.m.: Participants with a costume voucher get early admission to the swap. Show your voucher(s) at the program room door to be admitted. You can choose as many costumes as you have costume vouchers. Once you have chosen your items, you will check out at the door.

3 - 3:30 p.m.: Anyone may enter the swap and take as many items as they like, while supplies last.

Costumes are first-come, first-served. There is no guarantee you will find a costume in your size.
