Homeschool families are invited to bring curriculums, unused workbooks, and other educational supplies to share and trade.
Flower Mound Public Library - Community Program Room
Flower Mound Public Library
Community Program RoomHomeschool families are invited to bring curriculums, unused workbooks, and other educational supplies to share and trade.
Come explore & connect with other homeschoolers at our 2nd annual swap! Homeschooling families are invited to bring curriculums, unused workbooks, and educational materials to pass on or trade with other families for free. This is an opportunity to exchange ideas & curriculum supplies while connecting with other local homeschoolers. A craft will be available for attending children to do while grownups swap and mingle. A collection of FMPL educational resources will also be available for checkout. You do not have to contribute items to attend, though care will be taken to ensure attendees are fair to others when exchanging items. This is a communal swap/sharing program, no money may be exchanged for materials on library property.
Registration is only for participants who plan to host a table at the swap. Attendees do not need to register.
**Have items & materials to swap? Participants have two options:
1. Beginning April 25 (2 weeks before swap), participants may drop items off to a library staff member during any open hours. Staff will sort items collected in advance of the swap into Math, Science, ELA, and Other categories for ease of browsing during the event. Items left over after the swap will be collected and stored for use in the next homeschool swap event. This option is encouraged- we'll do all the setup for you!
OR
2. If you wish to take your remaining items home after the event rather than donating to future swap inventory, you must register for the event to reserve a table. Participants registering for a table will be responsible for sorting their items, tending to their table during the swap, and taking any of their remaining items home. If choosing this option, please arrive at 1 p.m. to set up your table before the swap begins.
