Celebrate National Poetry Month with this generative workshop explores three liberating poetic modes that break away from strict form: free verse, prose poetry, and stream of consciousness. Participants will learn how poets use rhythm, imagery, and voice without traditional constraints, experiment with different techniques of flow and fragmentation, and generate original poems in each style.

First built on its current site in 2000, the Flower Mound Public Library completed a renovation in 2020. This 40,000 square foot facility includes a quiet reading area, seven study rooms, outdoor patios in the Adult and Children’s areas, and a Creation Lab.
