In honor of African American History Month, The Denton County Office of History and Culture will bring its Traveling Museum to the Flower Mound Public Library. Learn about Quakertown, a community of working-class black families that was forcibly removed to create Civic Center Park in Denton, Texas. This program is appropriate for ages 8 and older and registration is required.

First built on its current site in 2000, the Flower Mound Public Library completed a renovation in 2020. This 40,000 square foot facility includes a quiet reading area, seven study rooms, outdoor patios in the Adult and Children’s areas, and a Creation Lab.
