November is Arts Month in Flower Mound! Celebrate by attending the 11th Annual Flower Mound Public Library Art Party on Friday, Nov. 7 from 5 to 7 p.m.
This festive, after-hours event will feature art by LISD students, live performances by local elementary school show choirs, and professional art demonstrations—including shibori, the traditional Japanese art of dyeing cloth. Kids and families can enjoy face painting, glitter tattoos, and hands-on activities like button making and Artist Trading Cards (ATCs). Don’t forget to tour the Library’s Creation Lab and take part in a special community art project!

First built on its current site in 2000, the Flower Mound Public Library completed a renovation in 2020. This 40,000 square foot facility includes a quiet reading area, seven study rooms, outdoor patios in the Adult and Children’s areas, and a Creation Lab.
