When you think about World War II, what comes to mind? For the Greatest Generation, it has been looked upon as a time of change. This is especially true for women. In this presentation, retired U.S. history teacher Bruce Ralston highlights the significant part women played in the war both at home and in uniform. Coverage will include such topics as Rosie the Riveter, military service, everyday life, personal stories, and beyond.

First built on its current site in 2000, the Flower Mound Public Library completed a renovation in 2020. This 40,000 square foot facility includes a quiet reading area, seven study rooms, outdoor patios in the Adult and Children’s areas, and a Creation Lab.
