Would you like to try your hand at growing vegetables at home? Would you like to overcome past challenges in gardening? This class will introduce participants to six enabling factors to help them successfully grow their own veggies. Participants will also receive planting schedules for spring and autumn gardens. Presenter George Pavelek is an area urban farmer whose garden has been featured on CBS/DFW Channel 11's "Gardening 101." This program is for adults and teens, and registration is encouraged.
First built on its current site in 2000, the Flower Mound Public Library completed a renovation in 2020. This 40,000 square foot facility includes a quiet reading area, seven study rooms, outdoor patios in the Adult and Children’s areas, and a Creation Lab.
