Explore the power of community murals with local artist Beth Dilley! Discover the impact of murals on identity, social awareness, and creativity in an informal talk.
Community murals can create a sense of community, express historical and cultural identity, raise awareness about social issues, and inspire creativity and wonder. Cultural Arts Commission member, middle school art teacher and local artist Beth Dilley has designed several murals that were painted by the attendees at the Arts Festivals in Heritage Park in recent years. During this informal talk, Beth will discuss the significance of community murals and her process in creating past murals for the Town, as well as the most recent one, which will be on display in the Library during the month of December.
