In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the Denton County Office of History and Culture will bring its Traveling Museum "Native American Texans" to the Library on Monday, November 7 at 7 p.m.
November is Native American Heritage Month. In honor of the month, the Denton County Office of History and Culture will bring its Traveling Museum "Native American Texans" to the Library on Monday, November 7 at 7 p.m. This traveling museum examines the history and migration of six Native American tribes in Texas, with an emphasis on each tribe's culture and lifestyle. The presentation also discusses the impact of European colonization and settlement of Texas on the Native American tribes. This program is appropriate for ages 8 and older, and registration is required.
